Music classes were great! I was very impressed by the way you kept the class learning and moving along nicely even though there were over thirty people in the class! The way Mr. Wilson explained how and why theory works made a ton of sense and it finally started to click.....!!!!! Which is huge as I am not one that just understands theory! The class seemed to opened a whole new world of chord progressions and theory that are now waiting for me to dive in and learn!!! It's so exciting! Hope to see you all again at WOTFA. You and your family are very inspiring.

Thanks again for having us. Zack is great to work with. He is so patient and encouraging to all of us. We are so happy to have found you folks.”

What a fabulous learning experience and a fun time you gave us, Andrew. I have been to many classes over the years, and you are by far the very best. Most of the others present a bunch of new unfamiliar tunes. The student is so busy trying to learn the tune, that it is very difficult to learn any theory or chord structures. You got it spot on my friend. Go Western Swing.   Neal Beechinor

Andrew, you and your family did a super job with the class! I have wanted to attempt improv for a while and you set a mood of encouragement, light heartedness, and support in the group that enabled me (and many others) to try to "fatten up" some tunes. I enjoyed every day and hope to have an opportunity to jam with y'all sometime- you know I am going work on some licks!

Three years ago I told my daughter she had to do something during the summer, so I signed her up for ukulele lessons at the Wilson School of Strings. Three years later she's still strumming the ukulele and now playing the fiddle, too, at the Wilson School of Strings. Encouraging and warm, the instructors celebrate each student's accomplishments, big and small. To top it off, they make sure that their students learn the social aspect of music, a skill that will follow my daughter for life: How to play music with others. In a school district that is devoid of orchestras (LISD) this has been a fantastic addition to my daughter's musical education.

My three kids have been taking lessons with Deanna and Andrew since this past June and it is absolutely one of their most favorite things. They have come a long way in a short time, and I love that they are really learning how to play and have fun and be truly musically fluent. They each usually choose to practice their instruments before any other lessonwork/homework. Plus, they are starting to enjoy playing together (fiddle, guitar, and piano). Now it's getting really fun.

My two daughters have been taking piano, guitar and ukulele lessons with Andrew, Jake and Deanna. Our experience with the studio has been very positive. All three of the instructors have been warm, encouraging, and fun. I love that they take a little time during each lesson to play something for the kids. In this way, my kids are able to experience music beyond their current abilities and also see what they will be able to do someday if they continue to learn and practice. The Wilson's love for music is apparent and contagious. My kids love their lessons and practice without being asked. We look forward to our time at the studio each week and have much appreciation for Andrew and Deanna's family.

My son Owen has LOVED your classes. So much so that he practices without being reminded. Your patience and willingness to work with each child at their own pace is such an asset. Thank you so much!

It has been a happy and fun experience seeing my young child enjoy his lessons with Jake and Andrew. They both are extremely patient and joyful in teaching, and have a unique way of explaining and showing and teaching. It is obvious and welcome that music is in the fabric of their lifestyle; it is beyond rigorous technique, into the pleasure of making great music together.

My 6YO daughter loves her ukulele lessons with Jake. He does a great job teaching at her level and makes lessons fun and interesting. She's always so excited when she learns something new, and she can't wait to show Jake how much she's improved every week. She's learning and playing songs after only 5 months of lessons and, most importantly, she's enjoying it!

My daughter is 12 and has been taking piano lessons with Deanna for a few months and she is loving it. She says Deanna teaches you but also makes it fun to learn so she enjoys practicing. I can't wait to hear how she plays in a year or so. She has already learned so much!

I am so grateful to have found Andrew and his family. My daughter enjoys and looks forward to classes every week. She has struggled in school and this has given her beyond confidence. She continues to learn song after song. And sways as she plays. Makes a mommy happy!

Deanna does a great job teaching my two young children violin and piano. She's very patient, creative and fun. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for music lessons for their children.

We've been blessed to find Deanna and Andrew as fiddle instructors for our daughter. They're both immensely talented instructors, and with oodles of patience are developing her skills and encouraging her at the same time! I can't recommend them enough - the whole family is crazy talented!
